Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily accounting operations including data entry and filing
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
- Support in monthly and yearly closing activities
- Assist in preparing financial reports and documents as required
- Liaise with internal departments and external parties (e.g. auditors, vendors) when necessary
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn
