Job Description
Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for plant / production equipment.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
Maintain pumps, valves, piping, compressors, gearboxes and related mechanical systems.
Support equipment inspection, servicing, installation and modification works.
Coordinate with operations, contractors and vendors when required.
Prepare maintenance records and reports.
Senior candidates may supervise technicians or contractors.
Requirements
NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
Experience in mechanical / equipment / plant maintenance is preferred.
Knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, compressors or rotating equipment is an advantage.
Able to troubleshoot mechanical faults.
Candidates from plant, chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing or industrial background are welcome.
Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
