PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Tax Stamp Customs Approval

• Get approval for tax stamp from customs officer at Wisma Kastam / Free Zone
• Provide explanation to customs on item, quantity, value, or any related queries
• Make tax stamp payment at customs cashier counter
• Obtain approval for tax stamp process with customs (Cawangan Perolehan, Wisma Customs Westport)
• Liaise with Lembah Sari for tax stamp process and collection

2. Payment Tax Stamp Process

• Apply petty cash for tax stamp payment with Finance Penang (MHDM)
• Apply Bank draft at Finance Shah Alam for tax stamp payment (Remy and Heinemann)
• Exchange banker’s cheque at Hong Leong Bank for Remy and Heinemann tax stamp payment

3. Tax Stamp Collection and Disposal

• Collect tax stamp at Wisma Customs (Cawangan Perolehan, Westport)
• Prepare letter for tax stamp disposal and submit to customs
• Process tax stamp disposal with customs

4. K1 Pass Paper and Examining

• Obtain Arahan for K1 examination at Westport
• Handle customs examination and PE endorsement in system
• Conduct licence checking and stock checking with Customs (Cawangan Import Export, Wisma Westport)
• Submit documents for K1 approval duty payment

5. K1 Truck (Northport to GBA Shah Alam)

• Prepare documentation and complete gate pass for truck
• Submit documents to driver
• Follow up with driver until truck exits warehouse to Free Zone gate
• Collect copy of gate pass once truck exits Free Zone
