We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable (AP) Assistant to support our Finance team in managing daily accounts payable activities. You will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying financial documents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery orders where applicable.
- Prepare payment schedules and assist in processing vendor payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issues.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and AP reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support audits by providing required financial documentation and records.
- Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or accounting roles (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.

Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 6:00 pm)
