We’re looking to add an Engineer, R&D (Electronics) in Singapore. The position is based in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio.


As an Engineer, R&D (Electronics), you will:


  • Develop, initiate and oversee control systems, in-policies and procedures of the compliance program and its related activities to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines, ethic or improper conduct;
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve RBA compliance for sites including on-site service providers;
  • Collaborate with corporate counsels, internal audit, Operations, HR, EHS, etc to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations and as needed to support in investigation of legal compliance issues;
  • Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved;
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides and oversees a system for uniform handling of such violations;
  • Examine and improve auditing process and periodically conducts audits and reviews to ensure execution of compliance standards;
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments winthin or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control;
  • Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of the company to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends;
  • Institute and maintain an effective compliance communication program for the organization, including promoting, heightened awareness of compliance initiaties, and understanding of new and existing compliance issues and related policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs;
  • Participate in any special projects/programs as & when assigned by Company.


Requirements


  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree, preferably in related field;
  • Proven experience as a RBA Compliance Manager for min of 3 years;
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus.
