Job Description

Responsibilities


Leasing & Landlord Management

  • Lead and manage all lease-related activities, including documentation, negotiation preparation, and execution in coordination with internal stakeholders and legal advisors
  • Independently lead and negotiate lease terms with landlords, driving commercially optimal outcomes while balancing operational and legal considerations
  • Build and manage strong landlord relationships across the portfolio, proactively resolving issues and unlocking opportunities
  • Drive lease strategy by analysing commercial terms, benchmarking deals, and supporting negotiation positioning

Store Network Planning & Business Support

  • Lead feasibility studies, site evaluations, and financial analysis to support new store openings, renewals, and network optimization
  • Prepare and present business cases for board approval, with clear commercial rationale and risk assessment
  • Support store network strategy development through data-driven insights and market understanding

Store Development & Project Delivery

  • Oversee all store development documentation and governance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Partner with Project Managers to deliver end-to-end store development, including planning, design coordination, contract finalization, procurement, and construction progress control
  • Ensure seamless store openings through close coordination with Store Operations and cross-functional teams

Insurance & Risk Management

  • Oversee all store-related insurance matters, including policy renewals and ad hoc coverage (events, pop-ups, project works), ensuring full compliance with lease requirements
  • Manage end-to-end insurance claims process, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing business risk exposure
  • Strengthen overall risk management practices through structured tracking and stakeholder coordination

Cross-functional Leadership & Governance

  • Drive alignment across Store Development, Legal, Finance, Operations, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of leases and projects
  • Represent Store Development in key internal and external discussions, including landlord negotiations and strategic forums
  • Ensure governance standards are met across all processes, documentation, and approvals
