About the role
We are seeking an experienced Finance & Office Senior Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in the financial accounting and reporting functions of our growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
- Manage daily accounting activities, including payables, receivables, cash flow monitoring, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Monitor and process operational expenses and payments, including petty cash management and reconciliations.
Management Accounts & Reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow summaries.
- Assist management with budgeting and financial tracking.
- Monitor financial performance and highlight key variances or issues.
- Support financial planning and operational reporting requirements.
Audit & Compliance Coordination
- Prepare and maintain financial records and schedules to ensure audit readiness.
- Liaise directly with external auditors during annual audit exercises.
- Coordinate with tax agents and external accountants on statutory filings (tax, SST).
- Assist with preparation and submission of statutory documentation.
- Ensure proper filing, organisation, and retention of corporate and financial records.
Corporate Secretarial & Regulatory Support
- Liaise with the company secretary on annual filings, board resolutions, statutory compliance matters, corporate documentation updates; and maintenance of statutory records.
- Coordinate renewal of licences, registrations and corporate documents
- Support management on governance and company administration matters
- Assist with compliance tracking and internal documentation requirements
HR and Office Administration Support
- Assist in processing payroll and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Maintain employee attendance records and support on/off‑boarding activities.
- Provide general HR and office administration tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of finance or accounting management experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit practices
- Familiarity with Malaysian statutory and payroll requirements; APAC compliance exposure is an advantage
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and accounting/ERP systems
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail
- Integrity, discretion, and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
- Candidates with more experience will be consider for a Assistant Manager/Manager position.
