JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for developing and maintaining accurate BIM models for electrical systems in construction and data center projects. Support project teams by producing coordinated 3D models, shop drawings, and as-built documentation in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• BIM Modelling
• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit.
• Produce BIM models based on design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Update models according to design changes, RFIs, and site instructions.
• Ensure model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company BIM standards.
• Shop Drawing Production
• Prepare coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings, and builder's work drawings from BIM models.
• Generate sections, elevations, schedules, and detailed construction drawings.
• Support engineering and site teams with drawing updates and revisions.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision records.
• BIM Coordination
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, and Civil teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings when required.
• Assist in clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks or similar software.
• Incorporate coordination comments into BIM models and drawings.
• Quantity Take-Off & Documentation
• Extract quantities and material schedules from BIM models.
• Support procurement and project teams with quantity verification.
• Maintain BIM documentation, model files, and project records.
• Assist in preparation of as-built models and final project deliverables.
• Project Support
• Support site teams with BIM-related technical queries.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet client, consultant, and project requirements.
• Assist BIM Engineers and Project Engineers in model development and coordination activities.
• Support project handover documentation when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, BIM Technology, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in BIM Modelling, M&E Drafting, or Construction Projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of Navisworks and BIM workflows.
• Able to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Locations: Sungai Buloh | Cyberjaya | Puncak Alam

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
