Job description
- Assemble, install, test and maintain mechanical/electrical equipment, appliances and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning and breakdowns of mechanical equipment, systems.
- Assisting the mechanical/electrical engineer with mechanical/electrical design and maintenance tasks.
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
- Developing and implementing mechanical/electrical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
- Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.
- Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of machinery and equipment.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing gloves, safety helmets, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Follow all safety protocols and clean up your workspace upon completion
Requirements and skills:
- Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or similar.
- A minimum of 2 year experience as a mechanical/electrical technician in a related industry.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Proficiency in mechanical/electrical design and diagnostic testing software.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Great organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience in Railway Industries is an added advantage.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 48 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
