Key Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Use grinders and other tools to clean and smooth metal surfaces before welding to ensure optimal weld quality.
• Post-Weld Finishing: Perform grinding and finishing work to remove excess weld material, spatter, and imperfections to meet visual and dimensional standards.
• Welding Operations: Join metal parts using MIG, TIG, and Laser welding techniques.
• Work with aluminium, stainless steel, and high-purity materials.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings accurately.
• Weld Quality: Inspect completed welds for defects or inconsistencies and perform repairs as needed.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve daily production targets and project deadlines.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe handling of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent academic qualification.
• Vocational training or welding certification from a recognized institution or training center.
• AWS Certification (American Welding Society) is highly preferred.

Experience & Skills

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in MIG, TIG, and Laser welding.
• Specialization in aluminium, stainless steel, or high-purity process welding is an added advantage.
• Proficient in using grinders, welding machines, and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Good attention to detail, precision, and safety awareness.
• Strong teamwork and time management skills.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
