Role Overview

As a Field Engineer, you’ll be part of the Field Services Operations team, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance (O&M) of LTE/5G networks. This role acts as the bridge between daily field service activities and project rollouts — making sure network performance remains stable while projects are delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot LTE/5G: Perform 1st-level corrective maintenance on access layer LTE/5G network elements and services.
• SLA compliance: Ensure timely fault restoration within service level agreements.
• Preventive maintenance: Conduct scheduled checks to improve network stability and reduce recurring faults.
• Work order management: Execute WFM-IFS work orders within deadlines, meeting SLA requirements.
• Project support: Handle apparatus assignments, project acceptance, and documentation sign-offs to meet rollout quality standards.
• Duty roster: Be available for 24/7 standby and produce routine reports.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 Year Working Experience In Field Operation Processes And Tools Management
• Knowledge of LTE/5G networks and field operation processes/tools.
• Mandatory certifications: Working at Height (WAH), CIDB, TM NIOSH Safety Passport is an added advantage
• Active manual driving license.
• Strong communication skills in English (written & spoken).
• Proficiency in MS Office, reporting, and presentation.
• Independent, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.

Benefits & Allowances

• Must own a 5G phone with 2 lines (different service providers).
• Phone allowance: RM110/month.
• Eligible for overtime claims:
• Weekdays after 7 PM
• Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays
• All claims subject to line manager approval

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
