Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer
About the Role
A rapidly growing technology-driven organization specializing in autonomous systems, robotics, and advanced automation solutions is seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to join its expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including autonomous vehicles, intelligent robotics platforms, and AI-powered solutions designed to solve complex industry challenges and improve operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions with a focus on machine learning, computer vision, predictive analytics, and autonomous decision-making systems.
Key Responsibilities
AI Solution Development
- Design, develop, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for autonomous systems.
- Implement advanced AI techniques, including reinforcement learning, predictive analytics, and neural networks.
System Optimization
- Enhance AI-powered capabilities such as navigation, object detection, object recognition, decision-making, and autonomous operations.
- Continuously improve model accuracy, efficiency, and performance in real-world applications.
Robotics & System Integration
- Collaborate closely with robotics, embedded software, and hardware engineering teams to integrate AI models into autonomous platforms and intelligent systems.
- Ensure seamless interaction between AI components and robotic infrastructure.
Data Processing & Analysis
- Collect, preprocess, manage, and analyze large datasets to support model development and optimization.
- Develop data pipelines and workflows to improve AI model training and deployment.
Research & Innovation
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and robotics technologies.
- Evaluate and implement emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive innovation.
Testing & Validation
- Conduct testing and validation of AI models in both simulation and real-world environments.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, accuracy, and robustness of deployed solutions.
Documentation
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including model architectures, algorithms, deployment processes, testing results, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Robotics Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, deep learning architectures, and computer vision techniques.
- Experience developing and training AI models for applications such as:
- Object Detection
- Image Recognition
- Computer Vision
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Familiarity with robotics frameworks and middleware such as ROS and OpenCV.
- Experience integrating AI solutions into real-time or embedded systems environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for AI deployment and scalability.
- Strong foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra, probability, statistics, and optimization techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on autonomous vehicles, drones, robotics platforms, or intelligent automation systems.
- Exposure to reinforcement learning, edge AI, or real-time computer vision applications.
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and AI lifecycle management.
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
