Summary:
Install and maintain advertising displays, promotional signage, graphics, and visual merchandising materials to ensure brand standards and marketing objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Install advertising graphics, banners, posters, decals, and signage.
- Set up point-of-sale (POS) displays and promotional materials in retail stores.
- Measure, cut, and position vinyl graphics, stickers, and display elements.
- Assemble display fixtures, stands, and exhibition structures.
- Perform site surveys and take accurate measurements.
- Ensure installations comply with safety regulations and client specifications.
- Inspect completed installations for quality and appearance.
- Repair, replace, or remove damaged advertising materials.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, clients, and store personnel.
- Transport installation materials and equipment to job sites.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and installation equipment.
Required Skills
- Class 3 driving license
- Experience with signage, graphics, or visual merchandising installations.
- Ability to read technical drawings, layouts, and installation instructions.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and installation equipment.
- Basic carpentry, electrical, or construction knowledge is often beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
- Physical fitness for lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ready to work out of normal working when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in signage installation, retail display installation, events, exhibitions, or related fields preferred.
- Safety certifications (such as working-at-heights certification) may be required depending on location and employer.
