With a strong footprint across Asia, the business continuously invests in state-of-the-art facilities and sustainable operations. They are now looking for a Facilities Manager for the plant in Penang. The position will be the key person to assist in planning, directing, and monitoring all preventative and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of buildings, machinery, and mechanical systems within the organisation.

Your new role

• Lead and manage all mechanical and cleanroom-related facility operations to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  
• Oversee maintenance strategies, asset reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across site facilities
  
• Manage and develop a team of technical specialists, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support production, engineering, and regulatory requirements
  
• Drive projects related to facility upgrades, energy efficiency, and operational excellence
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a MUST
  
• Strong expertise in cleanroom operations, HVAC systems, and facility maintenance practices
  
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams within a regulated manufacturing environment
  
• Solid understanding of compliance standards, safety requirements, and risk management
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin for stakeholder management
