About the Role

We're hiring a Sales Executive to drive field sales and distributor operations for a leading FMCG company across the Klang Valley and Klang areas. You'll lead general trade execution, strengthen distributor partnerships, and deliver business growth through strong team management and in-store visibility programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver sales targets, distribution coverage, and key performance metrics for the assigned area
• Manage area budgets and ensure timely customer claims processing
• Identify gaps and propose action plans to close performance gaps; maintain accurate customer databases and timely HQ reporting
• Build strong working relationships through regular business reviews with distributors, supporting them in achieving sales targets and incentives
• Monitor stock levels, recommend ordering plans, and resolve operational issues such as deliveries, claims, and stock returns
• Maintain up-to-date route and coverage plans; coach and develop distributor sales representatives
• Conduct monthly performance reviews, motivate the sales team, and oversee merchandiser routing and coverage
• Execute national marketing campaigns and trade programs, drive in-store visibility and merchandising standards
• Build strong relationships with key retail customers through regular engagement and joint business planning

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of FMCG sales experience, with hands-on exposure to distributor management
• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Comfortable working with sales tracking, reporting, and customer data systems
• Prior experience leading or coordinating a sales team is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, SAP, SFA, DMS) is an advantage
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to take initiative
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Klang Valley/Klang area (early morning briefings required)
