Job Responsibilities:

• Advise and support farms on daily poultry operations.
• Conduct routine farm visits to evaluate farm conditions, bird performance and operational practices.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure strict compliance with biosecurity protocols, disease prevention measures, and farm hygiene standards.
• Advise on vaccination programs, medication usage, and withdrawal compliance.
• Assist in the investigation and reporting of disease outbreaks or abnormal mortality.
• Provide on-site coaching and training to farm managers and farm workers.
• Support implementation of new technologies, systems or improvement initiatives.
• Ensure farms comply with Company SOPs and Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) regulations.
• Participate in internal audits, farm inspections and certification processes.
• Prepare and submit technical and operational reports on farm performance.
• Analyse production data and trends to support management decision-making.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Animal Science or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Professional certifications in poultry health, farm management or biosecurity are an added advantage.
• At least require a 10 years relevant working experience.
• Strong knowledge of poultry production systems (broiler, layer or breeder operations).
• Knowledge of farm management practices, animal welfare standards and hygiene requirements
• Able to work independently and make sound technical judgments.
• Able to adapt to different farm environments and operational challenges.
• Able to handle field-based work, including exposure to farm conditions such as heat, dust and odors.
• Able to respond promptly to disease outbreaks or emergency situations.
• Able to influence and drive compliance with SOPs and best practices.
• Problem-solving skills to recommend practical and effective solutions.
• Analytical skills to interpret production data and identify performance gaps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with farm managers and workers.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Applicant must be willing to work at Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
