Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator (Exec) is primarily responsible for managing a project's engineering and technical aspects. This includes coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless project execution, managing schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing technical guidance to team members. Additionally, the role involves liaising with clients, subcontractors, local authority employees, architects, quantity surveyors, and the overall project manager to facilitate communication, align expectations, and drive project success.

Project Engineering and Technical Coordination

  • Manage the engineering and technical requirements of the project, ensuring all technical aspects are in line with the project scope, specifications, and timelines.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team to solve engineering-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with technical teams (e.g., design, engineering, and construction) to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

Scheduling and Project Planning

  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring key milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Track project progress and provide timely updates to the project manager and other stakeholders.
  • Adjust schedules and resources as necessary to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Quality Control and Compliance

  • Ensure the project adheres to quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements, reviewing engineering documentation for accuracy.
  • Monitor the project’s performance and progress to identify risks and ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and environmental guidelines.

Liaising with Stakeholders

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, local authority employees, architects, and other professionals involved in the project.
  • Coordinate with quantity surveyors to manage costs, track expenses, and ensure project financials are kept on track.
  • Facilitate regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, to ensure the smooth flow of information.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and project plans.
  • Provide regular updates to the project manager and senior management on the status of the project.
  • Document and manage changes to the project scope, including any technical revisions or issues that arise.

Resource Management

  • Ensure that resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, are efficiently allocated throughout the project.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
