Mi Equipment Hiring! Full Time Procurement Executive in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

• Prepare and issue purchase orders based on purchase requisitions and ensure the timely follow-up with vendors for expected delivery dates (ETD)
• Sourcing and negotiate for the most competitive price in terms of quality, price, payment terms, deliveries and services with vendors
• Track and monitor the ETD of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery to meet target ETD requirements
• Handle order discrepancies, returns, and resolve any issues related to product quality or delivery
• Maintain accurate records in the system, including stock items, supplier pricing, and supplier details
• Ensure that all procurement data is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with company standards
• Prepare daily purchasing reports, providing accurate and timely data on orders, deliveries, and any discrepancies
• Follow up with vendors on ETD for Returned Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and require vendor provide the root cause and correction action
• Collaborate with others departments such as finance, production, and warehouse teams to understand and anticipate purchasing needs
• Participate in supplier audits to assess and ensure that suppliers meet the company's quality, compliance, and performance standards
• Continuously develop and improve the procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality products.
• Adhere to all company procurement procedures, policies, and compliance regulations to ensure consistency and transparency in purchasing activities
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field
• At least two (2) years of experience in the semiconductor machinery manufacturing industry.
• Specific experience in metal fabrication and mechanical engineering preferred
• Required language(s): English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking supplier
• Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office applicatio
• Strong negotiation and communication skill
• Ability to work under pressure and extra hours, including weekend, if require
• Positive working attitude and able to communicate to all level
