Responsibilities
About the Role
We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor to join our construction project team. This role covers pre-contract to post-contract QS duties for landed residential, apartment, and commercial projects. Ideal candidate should have hands-on QS experience in Singapore’s construction industry, with strong knowledge of cost estimation, tender preparation, progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Handle full spectrum of Quantity Surveyor duties from pre-contract to post-contract
Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, progress claims, and related documentation
Manage project budgets, cost control, cash flow, and cost reporting
Review and handle variations, variation order claims, and final accounts
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure timely submission of reports, claims, and project documentation
Oversee both landed houses, apartments, and commercial projects
Perform any other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of Quantity Surveyor experience in Singapore’s construction industry
Experience in landed residential projects is required, with exposure to apartment and/or commercial projects considered an advantage
Strong understanding of cost estimation, tendering, progress claims, variations, and final accounts
Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Good communication and coordination skills, including with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders where required
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday work is generally not required but may be requested during peak periods, such as urgent tender preparation or submission deadlines
