Job Title: Staff Engineer - Gas Systems (South Asia)

Location: Singapore

A leading advanced manufacturing organisation is looking to appoint a Staff Engineer (Gas Systems) to support its facilities engineering operations in Singapore. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of gas systems within a high-technology production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of bulk and specialty gas systems
• Ensure continuous, safe, and compliant gas supply to manufacturing facilities
• Drive system improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost performance
• Provide technical expertise on gas distribution, monitoring, and control infrastructure
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system-related issues
• Support capital projects, including system upgrades, expansions, and installations
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including operations, EHS, and external vendors

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience managing gas systems within semiconductor, wafer fabrication, or high-tech manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of specialty gases, bulk gas systems, and relevant safety standards
• Experience working in high-reliability, fast-paced operational settings
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
