Role Description

Stalwart Marine is seeking a full-time CNC Operator / Machinist for its site in Telok Panglima Garang. The role involves operating CNC machines to fabricate precise components, conducting routine maintenance of machinery, performing quality control checks, executing milling and machining processes, and ensuring production runs smoothly to meet quality standards. The CNC Operator / Machinist will work closely with the production team to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machines
• Perform daily production machining and prototype jobs
• Prepare machine setup including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and workholding
• Load materials and ensure proper machine operation during production
• Perform basic CNC program editing and on-machine adjustments when required
• Monitor machining processes to ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy
• Inspect machined parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot basic machining and machine operation issues
• Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and work instructions
• Work closely with supervisors and production team to achieve production targets

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or CNC Machinist
• Hands-on experience in CNC machine setup and operation
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and G-code editing is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances
• Experience operating 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machines
• Knowledge of machining tools, cutting parameters, and measurement instruments
• CAD/CAM or Rhino 3D knowledge is an added advantage
• Willing to work overtime when required
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Own transport is preferred
