Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the project team to ensure smooth execution of projects within the given timeline.

  • Plan manpower allocation, monitor team performance, and ensure project resources are effectively managed.

  • Identify training and development requirements for the project team.

  • Supervise and guide Project Engineers and Technicians on project execution, troubleshooting and work coordination.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.

  • Monitor project progress, schedules, testing, documentation and submission of reports to relevant authorities and ensure document has been approved, endorsed by relevant authorities.

  • Handle and oversee applications and coordination with agencies such as NETS, MHI, and Land Transport Authority (LTA).

  • Ensure all authority inspections, testing processes and certifications are completed on schedule.

  • Manage equipment forecasting, site implementation and testing arrangements for new projects.

  • Identify workplace hazards, implement safety improvements and act as the department’s Safety Leader.

  • Support training and development initiatives to enhance team competency and performance.

  • Ensure projects are completed in compliance with company standards, safety regulations and customer requirements and ensure certificates of substantial completion are issued on time by relevant authorities.

Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree holder

  • Previous experience managing projects, teams, or construction/engineering work.

  • Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to guide a team and work with others (e.g., HDB, contractors).

  • Ability to track progress and meet deadlines.

  • Familiar with HDB procedures and agency applications (e.g. NETS, MHI, LTA) will be an advantage.

  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
