Position: Business Development Manager (Vietnam Market)

Location: Singapore (with frequent travel to Vietnam)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our expansion into the Vietnam market. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, conducting market research, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the Vietnamese business environment and the ability to establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company's presence in Vietnam.

  2. Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.

  3. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and customer needs.

  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.

  5. Negotiate commercial agreements and manage contract discussions.

  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.

  7. Achieve sales and revenue targets set by the company.

  8. Prepare business proposals, presentations, and market reports for management review.

  9. Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and business meetings in Vietnam.

  10. Ensure compliance with local regulations and business practices.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field.

  2. Minimum 5 years of business development, sales, or market expansion experience.

  3. Proven experience developing business opportunities within the Vietnam market.

  4. Strong network of business contacts in Vietnam is preferred.

  5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

  6. Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.

  7. Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

  8. Proficiency in English and Vietnamese (spoken and written).

  9. Willingness to travel frequently between Singapore and Vietnam.

  10. Strong understanding of Vietnamese business culture, regulations, and market dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail, food & beverage, vending machine operations, beauty, wellness, or consumer products industries.

  • Experience managing cross-border business development projects.

  • Familiarity with ASEAN market expansion strategies.
