Operations Assistant

Presto Drycleaners Pte Ltd is one of Singapore’s leading garment care specialists with over 30 years of experience in laundry and dry-cleaning services. We combine technology, operational excellence, and customer-focused service to deliver quality garment care solutions to both consumers and businesses.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support our daily operations and customer service back-end processes. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Garment Inspection

  • Conduct daily garment inspections for defects such as stains, tears, missing buttons, fabric damage, and other abnormalities

  • Record findings accurately in our internal systems

  • Review garments after processing to ensure quality standards are met

  • Identify and flag items requiring re-processing or special attention

  • Check and follow up on garments highlighted by retail outlets

Operations & Workflow Support

  • Support the day-to-day running of operational processes and garment workflows

  • Monitor garment movement and ensure completed items progress through the required stages

  • Identify operational issues and escalate them for resolution

  • Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency and reducing operational bottlenecks

Order Coordination & Problem Solving

  • Match completed orders to the correct customer records

  • Investigate and resolve outstanding or missing items using internal systems and CCTV reviews

  • Coordinate with outlets and operational teams to ensure timely order completion and dispatch

  • Follow up on pending cases and ensure proper closure

Customer Communication & Administrative Support

  • Communicate with customers via WhatsApp regarding defects, garment issues, and order updates

  • Coordinate alteration requests and outlet support matters

  • Support administrative tasks across customer service, operations, and finance functions

  • Handle outlet requests such as stationery and operational support matters

Process Improvement & Team Support

  • Assist in documenting and improving operational processes

  • Support implementation of new systems and workflows

  • Participate in operational projects and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable using mobile applications, WhatsApp, and computer systems

  • Good communication skills in English

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Prior operations or customer service experience is an advantage, but not required

Working Hours

Monday – Saturday
8:30am – 4:30pm
