Responsibilities:

• Act as subject matter expert for enterprise virtualisation environments built on VMware vSphere and VMware vCenter
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle operations including upgrades, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning
• Drive infrastructure stability through proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
• Implement automation for operational efficiency using PowerCLI, PowerShell, and Python
• Support infrastructure resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery planning
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards
• Follow and enforce ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Contribute to DevOps-driven operational improvements and infrastructure as code initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of VMware technologies and virtualization concepts.
• Hands-on experience with automation scripting (PowerCLI, PowerShell, Python).
• Understanding of Information Security, DevOps, and ITIL processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent certification.
