Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Sales Orientation: Motivated, resilient, competitive, and goal-oriented; comfortable with reaching out to potential clients.
  • Presentation Skills: Must be confident, well-presented, and capable of establishing credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Learning Capability: Quick learner; able to understand solutions and value propositions efficiently.
  • Background: No IT experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Mobility: Required to possess a valid driving license and be open to travel for meetings and events related to customers.
  • Work Habits: Must be organized, responsible, and diligent in maintaining CRM and reporting consistency.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or student leadership positions.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian public-sector procurement processes, tendering fundamentals, or GLC environments.

Familiarity with any CRM software (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce) and productivity applications (Excel/PowerPoint) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Identify and evaluate government accounts (ministries, agencies, GLCs) through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, in-person visits, and events.
  • Obtain weekly meetings with decision-makers and influencers (IT, procurement, finance, compliance) who are qualified.
  • Analyze accounts to pinpoint buying centers, key stakeholders, and decision-making processes.

Sales Implementation

  • Conduct structured discovery sessions, customize value propositions, and present Cloudify.Asia solutions alongside Sangfor products.
  • Organize demonstrations/POCs with technical teams; oversee trials and follow-up actions to expedite decision-making.
  • Compose initial proposals, refine with senior colleagues, and assist with tender/RFQ submissions (training provided).
  • Negotiate commercial terms within established guidelines and finalize sales.

Focus on Public Sector

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Malaysian public-sector procurement and tender processes (e.g., basics of ePerolehan/tendering).
  • Monitor relevant frameworks, panels, and compliance mandates; report obstacles promptly.

Excellence in Operations

  • Ensure precise CRM management (leads, opportunities, next steps, dates, values, stages).
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports; keep an accurate personal sales forecast updated.
  • Represent Cloudify.Asia professionally at meetings, briefings, roadshows, and events.
