Job Responsibilities

• Track shipment status daily and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue quotations and invoices promptly.
• Coordinate with suppliers for cargo collection and identify appropriate sailings.
• Obtain competitive freight rates from carriers and handle bookings with them.
• Plan and forecast shipment schedules based on material expediting reports.
• Work as the on-site logistics and shipping support at the client's location.
• Compile project costs, shipment profile & loss, and generate monthly reports.
• Liaise with overseas team for freight rates, bookings, tracking shipment updates, etc.
• Manage tender preparation and submission.
• Handle import/export permits for customs clearance.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min NITEC/ Diploma/Degree in logistics / supply chain studies or equivalent
• Min 3 years relevant working experience in freight forwarding
• Proficient in Microsoft Office would be advantageous
• Willing to travel overseas
