What we are looking for

We are seeking a Finance & Operations Assistant to support critical financial and operational tasks. This role combines financial operations with administrative responsibilities, playing a key part in ensuring smooth business operations.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and organized, with a mindset of continuous learning and a strong sense of integrity. You’ll work closely with our finance lead and cross-functional teams to support our accounting, payroll, and administrative processes in a fast-paced startup environment.


What you’ll do

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and compliance
  • Assist with monthly and annual financial close processes and reporting across multi-country entities
  • Collaborate with outsourced bookkeepers and ensure timely, accurate deliverables
  • Manage invoicing, payment reconciliation, and follow up on overdue balances using platforms like Xero and Stripe
  • Process vendor payments and maintain organized accounting records and documentation
  • Support audits by liaising with external auditors and preparing required documentation
  • Operate payroll and contractor management tools, monitoring client funds and disbursing payments
  • Other ad hoc admin tasks, including organizing company events and preparing official documents


What you’ll need

  • 2+ years of experience in finance and administration, preferably in a tech company
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality deliverables within deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with resourcefulness in tackling challenges and acquiring knowledge
  • A mindset of continuous improvement and growth, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt
  • Proactive attitude, anticipating challenges and taking initiative to address them
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams
