Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager Human Resources role based in Ampang (Construction Company). The Assistant Manager Human Resources will support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, as well as maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation. The role will coordinate performance management cycles, training and development initiatives, and employee engagement activities. The Assistant Manager will also handle employee relations matters, provide HR advisory support to managers, assist with payroll inputs and HR reporting, and contribute to HR projects that enhance organizational effectiveness.


Qualifications

  • Strong HR operations skills, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and HR documentation.
  • Experience in performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices in human resources.
  • Proficient in HRIS or HR-related systems (Infotech), with solid MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across all levels.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in an HR executive or senior HR role, preferably in a fast-paced or service-oriented environment.
