Responsibilities:

Job Objective

• Plan supply of materials and/or trading goods timely, accurately, and effectively
• Manage inventory of goods / materials at targeted levels to meet production planning needs and market demands
• Ensure production needs are aligned with availability of raw materials and machine capacity
• Support short-term demand of product/material change for projects and promotions
  
  

Role And Responsibilities

• Plan and realize optimized supply plan based on latest forecast, stock level, and raw material availability.
• Make supply plan changes to prioritize supply based on urgency and importance of demand.
• Ensure up to date forecast is used in supply planning.
• Evaluate, attune and communicate supply planning changes with production, commercial teams and/or other stakeholders.
• Plan and purchase trading goods and materials, whichever applicable, based on stock, specification, and supply plan
• Manage inventory of old and new materials and/or finished goods whenever there is a transition or new product introduction.
• Responsible for using information received from commercial teams, production capacity and inventory forecast process to prepare monthly supply plan and shipment schedule.
• Work closely with various departments and suppliers (both domestic and/or overseas) to ensure on-time availability of materials & trading items and timely execution of supply plan to meet business needs
• Work closely with business partners and/or logistic parties involved to resolve short shipment/ late delivery situations on a case-by-case basis.
• Responsible for reporting actual finished goods output vs plan to ensure that the schedule is on track to meet plan.
