ZF Aftermarket Hiring! Full Time Senior Machining Operator in Johor - Ricebowl

About the Team

We’re looking for a new colleague to join the ZF Aftermarket Manufacturing team at our location in Senai.

The team is responsible for precision machining operations that support stable production and consistent product quality for aftermarket components. Working closely with engineering, quality, and production functions, the team ensures efficient manufacturing while fully complying with quality, safety, and environmental standards. You will be part of a hands-on, technically skilled team that values collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

What you can look forward to as Senior Machining Operator:

• Perform CNC machine setup including fixture installation and cutting tool preparation to support efficient production

• Operate CNC machines and monitor machining processes to ensure stable operation and product quality

• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions accurately

• Adjust machining parameters (speed, feed, depth, coolant flow) to optimize process performance

• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using appropriate measuring instruments

• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues and collaborate with engineers and production teams on corrective actions

• Carry out trial runs to validate machine setup and program accuracy

• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in line with EHS requirements

Your Profile as Senior Machining Operator:

• SPM or equivalent qualification; Technical/Vocational certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

• Minimum 3–5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience with Fanuc controller and basic G-code programming is an advantage

• Strong troubleshooting and systematic problem-solving skills

• Ability to identify normal versus abnormal machining process conditions

• Detail-oriented with strong quality awareness

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Able to read and understand basic English
