About the role
Carconnections (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Admin Assistant to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Subang Jaya, Selangor. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office and contribute to the overall efficiency of our business. You will be a key part of our administrative team, managing day-to-day tasks and supporting various departments within the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Managing general office administration including answering telephones, greeting visitors and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
Organising and scheduling meetings, appointments and maintaining calendars for staff members
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both digital and physical, ensuring information is easily accessible
Processing and managing office supplies orders whilst monitoring inventory levels
Preparing and editing documents, reports and presentations using word processing and spreadsheet software
Supporting HR with basic personnel administration tasks such as employee record maintenance and scheduling interviews
Assisting with data entry and maintaining databases with accuracy and attention to detail
Coordinating office events, meetings and team activities as required
Providing general administrative support to multiple departments as needed
Ensuring compliance with office policies and procedures
What we're looking for
High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum; qualifications in business administration or secretarial studies are advantageous
Proven experience working in an administrative or office support role, ideally within a fast-paced business environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email management systems
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional etiquette
Attention to detail and accuracy in completing administrative tasks
A proactive and flexible approach to work, with willingness to support various departments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional demeanour and reliability with consistent attendance
Experience in the automotive or sales industry is preferred but not essential
