Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, data validation, conditional formatting, and structured spreadsheet design
Experience developing and maintaining estimating templates, cost databases, and rate libraries
Ability to manage automated take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
Proven experience auditing, troubleshooting, and improving estimating spreadsheets and systems
Strong process management and continuous improvement mindset
Experience implementing estimating workflows, QA processes, and standardisation practices
Understanding of construction estimating, tendering, cost planning, and quantity surveying principles will be an added advantage
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify pricing risks, analyse cost trends, and support margin control
Strong communication and supplier management skills, including subcontractor coordination and RFQ management.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Experience in construction estimating or quantity surveying will be an added advantage
