Role Summary:

Responsible for manufacturing degreasing, pickling, passivation, electro polish, washing processes, production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly builds according to schedule and required specifications, drawings, and work instructions.

• Handle repetitive assembly tasks such as tightening screws, nuts and fittings.

• Perform housekeeping and comply to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol.

• Responsible for production and quality output

• Ensure full and efficient pass down to the next shift.

• Highlight any problems or abnormalities

• Provide training activities for newcomer (buddy system)

• Take part in continuous improvement activities

• Support any relevant ad hoc duties and tasking assign by the superior.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Able to work independently

• Able to speak and write simple English

• Able to read and interpret basic Engineering drawing

• Team player with good problem-solving skills

• Basic computer literacy

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Candidate must possess a technical SKM or Diploma in technical (Example: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related Technical field), or an equivalent technical certification

Experience Requirement:

• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg) · 

• Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes 

• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required

Work Experience: 

• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred or prior working experience in manufacturing environment, or 

• 2 years of working experience in the related field would be an advantage, or CNC related-background, or

• 1-2 years working in machine shop, assembly clean rooms. Semi-Conductor and/or similar industry

• Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks

 Environmental Exposure:

• Required to wear personal protective equipment 

• Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals and debris.

• Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.

Overnight Travel: 

Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting).
