Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all export-related documentation (e.g. invoices, packing lists, COO, Bill of Lading, etc.).
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and export control laws of Malaysia and destination countries.
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and regulatory bodies.
Keep up-to-date with import regulations of target markets (e.g. Halal, food safety standards, packaging laws).
Coordinate shipment scheduling and logistics for timely delivery.
Assist in applying for export permits, certifications (e.g. FTA, HALAL, HACCP), and product registrations where required.
Support the sales and marketing team with export documentation and regulatory requirements
Travel internationally to attend food fairs, exhibitions, and trade missions to promote the company’s products.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in export operations, preferably in the food/FMCG industry.
Familiar with export procedures, INCOTERMS, and cross-border logistics.
Knowledge of international food safety standards and destination country import regulations (China, ASEAN, Middle East, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Work Location: MELAKA HALAL HUB, SERKAM.
