Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Description:

1. Ensure compliance with ISO9001, AS9100 & ISO14001.

2. Maintain on-time delivery (OTD) in production line and customer orders.

3. Plan & coordinate with respective department to achieve KPIs.

4. Establish and implement Objective and Key Results (OKR) of JP department.

5. Develop and oversee the Continuous Improvement Program.

6. Provide job planning expertise to job planners and other departments when needs arise.

7. Collaborate with job planners by reviewing and following up the job orders and customer delivery.

8. Maintain and monitor the schedule of job traveler issuance and data entry in ERP.

9. Monitor, highlight and perform corrective action on outstanding order, foreseeable delay in delivery, and urgent request from customer.

10. Maintain and monitor periodically safety stock level including in-process parts.

11. Monitor, highlight and perform corrective action on routing sequence and cycle time.

12. Maintain and monitor the job load and overtime distribution

13. Collaborate with other departments on the commit date for Projects, First Article, and problem highlights.

14. Enforce job planners’ discipline and Company Rules & Regulations in JP Department.

15. Maintain and monitor job planners’ performance and efficiency in terms of on time delivery, quality of works, and feedbacks, by department and by individual.

16. Develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions for job planning and ensure full compliance.

17. Protect proprietary and confidential properties gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information within JP Control.

18. To conduct any ad-hoc tasks request from the Top Management at any time.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field or other equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning or or scheduling role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office system, production planning and scheduling software such as ERP system.

  • Effective communication and and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.

  • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

  • Knowledge in report writing/ presentation skill.
