About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at STEEL PLUS SDN BHD' in our Rawang, Selangor location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, as well as assisting with various sales and administrative tasks.

What you'll be doing

• Provide information about our products and services to customers

• Developing business strategies to achieve revenue targets

• Collaborates with sales team to effectively achieve sales targets and company's goals

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, understand their needs to ensure current/ future business

• Manage the collection process, ensuring timely and accurate payment from customers while maintaining positive relationships. 

• Facilitate discussions on quality issues with customers, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address concerns and implement corrective action as needed.

• Monitor and track customer monthly purchase orders, ensuring alignment with sales targets and proactively addressing any discrepancies or changes.

• Regularly check and respond to customer email on a daily basis, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and maintaining open lines of communication to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition and industry development;

• Negotiating contract and closing deal

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of experience in a sales or customer service role

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience in industrial sales is preferable

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of the sales industry and current market trends
