What The Role Is
You are the back-office head for corporate services, overseeing the administration of operationally ready servicemen (NSmen) within the department. You also oversee and execute administrative requirements across deployment, development, and Human Resource (HR) administration.
What You Will Be Working On
- Manage and process manpower data, working with relevant entities on matters related to succession planning, unit generation, readiness status management, resource management, expertise deployment, and volunteer applications
- Oversee NS recognition schemes, course nominations, and performance management
- Assist in fitness assessment administration, offence management and call-up administration
- Oversee administrative, financial, and logistical approval processes in support of the department's workplan
- Sustain collaboration with partner agencies and stay abreast of new and updated policies and processes in manpower management
Challenge(s) - Interfacing with multiple stakeholders across agencies, requiring a strong grasp of HR processes
- Translating policies and governance frameworks into actionable outcomes to ensure timely and accurate HR administration
- Aligning work processes to support the team in achieving the highest standards of service delivery
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in HR
- Strong communication skills to work independently with various units, agencies, and stakeholders
- Meticulous and organised, with the ability to manage multiple administrative workstreams concurrently
