Job Description

Responsibilities

Salt is hiring a ‘Procurement Consultant’ for a growing management to support its expansion across ASEAN. The firm specializes in procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and operational transformation projects across a broad range of industries.

This role is suited for commercially minded consultants who combine strong analytical and operational capabilities with a practical, hands-on consulting approach. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to solve complex business challenges, drive operational improvements, and deliver measurable outcomes.

This is a contract role based in Singapore.

The environment is collaborative, agile, and entrepreneurial, offering exposure to end-to-end consulting engagements rather than highly siloed workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver consulting projects across procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and operational transformation
  • Manage project workstreams, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement
  • Conduct data analysis, market research, supplier assessments, RFQs, and operational reviews
  • Develop client-ready presentations, recommendations, and business cases
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Support procurement transformation initiatives including sourcing strategy, supplier evaluation, warehousing, and logistics optimization
  • Contribute to project scoping, solution development, and proposal preparation
  • Collaborate with consultants, analysts, and regional teams across multiple markets
  • Mentor junior consultants and analysts where required
  • Build trusted client relationships through practical, solution-oriented consulting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing project delivery and client engagement for transformation and sourcing projects
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments
  • Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem-solving
  • Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within teams
  • Experience across both procurement and supply chain initiatives
  • Familiarity with automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives
