CNC PROGRAMMER

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be guided by the Senior Manufacturing Engineer to carry out your duties. Your primary duty would be to write CNC programmes through the review of drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIE

• SReview customer drawings for any errors or clarification before start of job
• sPrepare geometric layout of designs using Mastercam. Knowledge of FeatureCam, Solidworks & Vericut is an added advantag
• eActively involved in improvement project
• sWrite programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency. Back up the confirmed programs into server once FA is prove
• nAnalyze and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs and design fixtures for machining purpose
• sPerform detailed investigations on any machining defect
• sPrepare set up sheet, measuring sketch and tools list before releasing the programs for each new job and repeated job
• sTranslate instructions into a Computer Automated Manufacturing (CAM) progra
• mMonitor all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the tas
• kSupport vendors on technical issues raised on drawings and other technical aspect

REQUIREMEN

• TSDiploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineeri
• ngBroad knowledge in machine tools, metal works and safety awarene
• ssMinimum 2 years in programming in the Oil & Gas indust
• ryWell versed in milling and turning proce
• ssStrong in computer programming skills, algebra, trigonometry and physi
• csOrganized and able to work independent
