Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) Hiring! Full Time ASSISTANT MANAGER (ELECTRICAL) in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Main responsibilities:

To check and review design work by consultants/implementing agents for approved projects under PAAB.

Tasks:

1. Check and review electrical designs prepared by consultants/implementing agents/specialists.

2. Provide technical support related to engineering matters for projects, such as project evaluation, detailed studies, detailed design and the tender stage.

3. Ensure that design work by consultants/implementing agents meets appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Review all technical documents submitted by consultants/implementing agents, including technical reports, specifications, design drawings, tender documents and other project-related documents from the design stage to the tender stage.

5. Assist in the application of AI, digital twins and energy management systems, if required.

6. Assist in project coordination work.

7. Assist in providing input to other departments, divisions and companies for work related to engineering design, if required.

8. Assist in developing relevant technical documents, if required.

9. Assist in reviewing performance assessments for consultants from the design stage to the tender stage.

10. Attend and prepare for meetings.

11. Assist in preparing reports and documentation for all assigned projects from the design stage to the tender stage.

12. Perform other related tasks as instructed from time to time by Management and/or the immediate Superior.

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent;
• At least 8 years’ experience in waterworks or similar nature;
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia is required;
• Excellent report writing and presentation are essential;
• The candidate should be energetic;
• Being self-motivated, analytical, resourceful and having strong integrity are important qualities; and
• A good working attitude and willingness to travel are expected.
