Responsibilities

Team Lead - Infrastructure & Cloud Services (Linux, Solaris, Azure and middleware) to lead the 24/7 support and maintenance of IT infrastructure services at the customer location. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership in managing cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence in a 24/7 support model, lead incident and problem management, and collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
· Operating System: Hands-on expertise in Operating systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Solaris, Oracle Linux).
· Middleware: Design, implement, upgrade, troubleshoot and maintain middleware applications (IBM MQ, IBM WAS, IBM ACE, Apache, Tomcat, XAMPP, Exceed on Demand, Wildfly and JBOSS).
· Infra & Azure Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
· Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform and Bicep for automated deployments.
· Cloud Platforms: Proven experience as on Azure Architect. (Azure Architect Certification (Az-305))
· DNS Management: Strong knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP with hands-on experience on BIND DNS, Azure DNS and Infoblox DNS Cloudflare DNS.
· Security & Compliance: Support vulnerability assessment (VA) scanning and remediation at the infrastructure layer, OS layer and middleware layer.
· Incident & Operations Management: Experience in leading high-severity incident calls, oversee data center operations.
· Migration: Expertise in migrating the servers and application across the cloud.
· Automation: Proven experience on automating tasks using the Ansible, AZ ClI and bash scripts.
· Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and mentor high-performing teams, manage vendors, and identify growth opportunities with the customer.
· Reporting & Audits: Generate operational and audit reports; collaborate with internal/external audit teams.
· Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts for critical incidents and maintenance activities.
· 24/7 Infra Support Ownership: Responsible for continuous support and maintenance of customer IT infrastructure.
· License Management: Responsible for tracking and managing the number of OS, IBM product license and IBM License Metric Tool.
Good-to-Have
· Experience in implementing and continuously improving ITIL processes including Incident, Change, Problem, Capacity, and Availability Management.
· Proven ability to manage high-severity incidents with composure and efficiency.
· Broad technical expertise across the operating system, azure and middleware stack.
· Ability to troubleshoot and fix the issues identified on the legacy OS and middleware tools without principle support.
· Ability to handle end-to-end infrastructure services, ensuring seamless integration and performance across diverse technologies.
· Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively engage with vendors and stakeholders for operational success.
· Knowledge of Oracle Cloud and AWS Cloud administration tasks.
· Knowledge of Cloudflare DNS and understanding on the WAF for handling middleware vulnerabilities and to enable necessary hardening.

Practical and in-depth experience in operating systems, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), storage solutions, backup technologies, and network architecture.

Willingness and flexibility to work during weekends and night shifts, especially during high-severity incidents and patching windows.

Strong communication and vendor coordination skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and ensure operational excellence.
