Who We Are

Amplify Health is Asia’s leading health technology and analytics organisation, providing our customers with integrated solutions to make healthcare more accessible, affordable and effective across the region.

We offer a unique B2B business model and integrated stack of SaaS-based products, PaaS-based HealthTech launchpad and DaaS-based on-demand data offerings to deliver impact to our customers across the healthcare value-chain.

Our joint-venture partners, AIA and Discovery, have provided us with the foundations and a platform that truly differentiates us from our competitors and allows us to build and deploy products at a scale and quality that few can match.

We aim to be the trusted custodian of Asia's largest repository of health data, unifying financial, clinical, operational and behavioural data to empower our customers with insights that highlight opportunities to deliver better value and care outcomes.

Our Vision and Ambition

To build the leading healthcare AI and platform services company in Asia that transforms the delivery of health and wellness for patients and communities by combining and leveraging the distinctive and complementary assets and strengths of AIA and Discovery.

Amplify Health will simplify access to health data and AI Innovation to accelerate distinct and disruptive healthcare value insights and resulting improvements in health outcomes through value-based care, personalised care plans and aligning individuals’ lifestyle/ behavioural choices.

By 2028, Amplify Health will have in place one of Asia’s strongest health-tech and AI capabilities; a comprehensive, integrated health technology stack supported by precision insights derived from proprietary data pools.

The Position

Summary

The Customer Technical Implementation Lead is the single accountable technical owner for customer implementations. This role serves as the primary client‑facing technical authority, owning end‑to‑end delivery across multiple Amplify Health products within a customer or market.

You will define scope boundaries, lead technical solutioning and integration, and drive decisions to closure across stakeholders. Partnering closely with Project Managers and cross‑functional teams (Product, Architecture, Cloud/DevOps, and Security), you ensure predictable, high‑quality technical delivery from requirements and solutioning, integration, environment readiness, System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment readiness, and go-live stabilisation.

This is a senior individual contributor role. Leadership is exercised through influence, technical credibility, and hands‑on execution.

Responsibilities

1) Customer Communication & Boundary Management

  • Serve as the primary client-facing technical lead for the customer implementation; facilitate discussions, communicate clearly, and drive decisions to closure.
  • Define and maintain clear scope boundaries (in-scope/out-of-scope), proactively manage change requests, and tactfully push back when needed while preserving client trust and satisfaction.
  • Translate technical constraints and delivery risks (integration behaviours, environment readiness, sequencing) into clear options, recommendations, and impacts for both customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish a lightweight technical governance cadence (decision log, risks/issues, dependencies) in partnership with the Project Manager.

2) Customer Technical Ownership (Multi-Product Delivery)

  • Own the end-to-end technical delivery for the customer across multiple products, ensuring the full solution works cohesively (product-to-product and product-to-client systems).
  • Work closely with product tech leads/architects to build and orchestrate system architecture (internal and client facing), ensuring fit-for-customer design and clear technical dependency management.
  • Maintain delivery discipline and governance across discovery, build/configuration, SIT/UAT, go-live, and hypercare phases.

3) Integration & Technical Solutioning (API / Data / Interfaces)

  • Lead integration design with customer systems (APIs, data interfaces, batch or real‑time flows).
  • Drive clarity on interface behaviour, data mapping, error handling, and operational processes.
  • Ensure end-to-end integration readiness (contracts, mappings, test approach) and coordinate defect triage with internal teams through SIT/UAT.

4) Environment / Infrastructure Readiness

  • Drive environment readiness (e.g., sandbox/pre-prod/prod) and ensure infra requirements are understood and executed with Cloud/DevOps and product teams.
  • Coordinate readiness inputs across teams so delivery workstreams are not blocked by environment dependencies.

5) Testing Leadership (SIT/UAT) & Deployment Readiness

  • Plan and lead System Integration Testing (SIT): define scope, entry/exit criteria, test data needs, and drive defect triage to closure.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): prepare test approach, coordinate fixes/re-tests, and ensure sign-off artefacts and readiness criteria are met.
  • Lead deployment readiness: cutover preparation, production rollout coordination, and post go-live stabilization (hypercare) with clear handover inputs.

6) Security, Resilience & Governance Coordination (as required per customer)

  • Coordinate security, resilience, and regulatory activities as required per customer (e.g. security assessments, DR planning/testing).
  • Ensure governance requirements are met prior to go‑live.

Candidate Profile

Experience and Qualifications

  • Over 8–10+ years in technical implementation, solution delivery, or platform integration roles.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills: ability to set boundaries, manage scope, and tactfully push back on out-of-scope requests while maintaining high customer confidence and satisfaction.
  • Broad technical foundation across integrations, APIs/data flows, environments/infrastructure, and delivery lifecycle fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and lead through influence across cross‑functional teams, including Project Managers, Product Teams, and Shared Services, to deliver outcomes.
  • End‑to‑end implementation experience: discovery, integration, SIT/UAT, go‑live, and post‑launch support.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare or health insurance operations, including claims, clinical, financial, and operational data flows would be advantageous
  • Strong familiarity with healthcare insurance platforms (e.g. claims processing, benefits, rules engines, tariffs, clinical coding) would be nice to have.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or relevant) strongly preferred.

Competencies & Core Characteristics:

We are seeking a leader who embodies the following competencies and characteristics essential for success in our scale-up environment:

  • Technical Domain Expertise: Demonstrates deep understanding of platform integrations and delivery mechanics, and applies this knowledge pragmatically to complex customer environments.
  • Solution & Systems Architect: Able to translate customer needs into scalable, coherent technical solutions while balancing product, integration, and operational constraints.
  • Unifier & Cross-Functional Influencer: Builds alignment across product, engineering, delivery, and customer teams; drives decisions and progress without formal authority.
  • Customer-Obsessed Advocate: Represents the customer perspective internally while protecting Amplify Health’s delivery integrity, quality, and long‑term scalability.
  • Data-Driven Decisiveness: Uses facts, risks, and impact analysis to prioritise, sequence, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Resilient Operator: Maintains composure and delivery focus in ambiguous, high‑pressure environments typical of scale‑up and enterprise implementations.
