Job Description

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing on-site IT support to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations (BAU) for office users. This role involves troubleshooting end-user issues, supporting IT infrastructure and equipment, managing IT assets, coordinating with regional/global IT teams, and assisting with global project implementations.


Job Description :

1. IT Helpdesk & End-User Support

  • Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and user-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and connectivity problems
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and collection


2. IT Asset & Equipment Management

  • Manage IT assets, equipment inventory, mobile devices, and related records
  • Coordinate procurement, maintenance, replacement, and disposal of IT equipment
  • Provide basic support for printers, PBX systems, and office IT equipment


3. Network & Infrastructure Support

  • Perform basic LAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Assist with office IT infrastructure support and coordinate with vendors when necessary


4. Meeting Room & AV Support

  • Support meeting room technologies, video conferencing systems, and audio-visual equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate maintenance or repairs


5. Training & Documentation

  • Conduct IT orientation for new employees
  • Maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and company-wide IT communications


Requirements :

  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or End-User Support
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi)
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and support users in an on-site office environment
