We are seeking a highly driven and passionate individual with good self-initiatives to design, implement, and maintain the foundational infrastructure that powers our services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Service Implementation and Support

   • Design, implement, monitor, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure for services.

   • Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

   • Configure and optimize cloud and on-premises environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, VMWare).

   • Perform patching/upgrade activity for Service Infrastructures.

   • Able to support and work well in Linux based environments.

1. Automation and Efficiency

   • Develop automated provisioning and deployment pipelines to streamline infrastructure/product/service provisioning setup.

   • Build tools and scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.

1. System Monitoring and Reliability

   • Implement and manage monitoring solutions to track system performance and uptime.

   • Proactively highlight and address issues related to capacity, performance, and security.

   • Troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents.

1. Collaboration and Support

   • Collaborate with Technology team, Product team, MIS team where required to support application and service deployment.

   • Assist in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth integration between infrastructure and applications.

1. Security and Compliance

   • Implement security best practices for infrastructure, including firewalls, IAM policies, and encryption.

   • Ensure systems comply with organizational and industry-specific security standards and policies.

1. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

   • Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and tools.

   • Share knowledge and train other team members on infrastructure practices and tools.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and virtualization technologies.

• Hands-on experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes etc).

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl or equivalent.

• Knowledge on either monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.

• Knowledge on either orchestration/configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet etc

• Experience with networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancers, etc.).
