Baker (Central Kitchen)
Location: Tai Seng
Salary: $2,000 – $3,200 (depending on experience)
Working Days: 5 days/week (including weekends)
Working Hours:
• 7:00am – 5:00pm
️ Job Scope:
Baking / Cooking
• Operate baking equipment such as mixers, dough dividers, proofers, grinders, and ovens
• Bake breads, pastries, cakes, and other products according to recipes
• Perform cooking techniques for fillings, soups, noodles, rice, and other food items
Food Preparation
• Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients including vegetables and meats
• Prepare dough for breads, pastries, and specialty items
• Prepare fillings such as mousse, ganache, and bean paste
Food Production
• Shape and assemble buns, pastries, sandwiches, and baked products
• Fill and decorate cakes and pastries using cream, mousse, toppings, and piping techniques
Packaging & Labelling
• Weigh, portion, pack, and label products accurately
• Operate sealing machines and handle manual packaging when required
• Store finished products properly in chiller/freezer
Requirements:
• Experience in baking / central kitchen / food production preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Comfortable handling baking equipment and food preparation tasks
• Responsible with good attention to detail
