Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ML Engineer to design and develop scalable real-time data and machine learning solutions using modern Hadoop ecosystem technologies. The ideal candidate should have expertise in data engineering, machine learning operationalization, and building frameworks for multi-modal data processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable real-time systems using Hadoop ecosystem components such as Iceberg, Spark, Ozone, Trino, Hive, Ranger, Kafka, Flink, and NiFi.
• Build robust ingestion and transformation frameworks using Java, Spark, Python, and Shell scripting for processing multi-modal data including images, audio, video, and unstructured documents.
• Develop full-stack applications and internal engineering tools using Python, Flask, React, and modern web technologies.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to operationalize ML models using Cloudera Machine Learning (CML).
• Implement and optimize ML pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of Hadoop-based applications to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of machine learning models in production environments.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies including Spark, Kafka, Hive, Iceberg, Flink, NiFi, Trino, and Ozone.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with ML platforms such as Cloudera Machine Learning (CML), Spark MLlib, Scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
• Experience in developing scalable data ingestion and transformation frameworks.
• Knowledge of ML model deployment and operationalization.
• Experience in building full-stack applications using Flask and React.
