Summary:
Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure and server systems, including virtualised environments. The role involves hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and documentation, with participation in on-call support for critical systems.
Requirements:
- Install, configure, and commission network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, gateways).
- Set up, configure, and administer servers and virtual machines (Windows/Linux, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Monitor system and network performance, troubleshoot connectivity, and resolve incidents.
- Perform firmware upgrades, OS patching, and software updates.
- Maintain network diagrams, system architecture documentation, and configuration records.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance for infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, project teams, vendors, and clients during deployment and support.
- Provide standby and on-call support for critical issues.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in system integration or project-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with network devices and server setup.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP).
- Exposure to system and network troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work on-site, support deployments across multiple locations, and handle on-call duties.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive learning attitude.
- Certifications (e.g., CCNA, Microsoft, VMware) are a plus.
