We are seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as a Business Development Officer specializing in scheduling. The primary responsibility of this role is to produce cost-efficient and realistic bus service schedules that meet the specifications outlined by the Land Transport Authority (LTA). This entails utilizing Hastus software to create, check, and implement bus service schedules in accordance with scheduling guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Hastus software to produce bus service schedules that adhere to LTA specifications.
• Create and verify bus service schedules based on established scheduling guidelines.
• Collaborate with Operations and LTA to ensure smooth implementation of schedules.
• Process bus running times submitted by operations staff.
• Ensure compliance with service standards set by LTA and prepare necessary submissions.
• Generate schedule comparison tables for evaluation purposes.
• Produce reports on fleet and driver requirements, work hours, layover/meals break durations, or any other reports as required by management.
• Provide support during rail disruptions as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma holder or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficiency in Hastus or equivalent scheduling software.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders.
