Job Title: Application Maintenance / Production Support Engineer (L3 Support)
Domain- Core Banking – ATM Host & Statements
Location- Kuala Lumpur
Experience Required- 3–5 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for an Application Maintenance / Production Support Engineer to provide L3 support for Core Banking applications related to ATM Host and Statements. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, maintaining AS400-based applications, ensuring system stability, and supporting deployment and automation activities within a banking environment.
Minimum Required Eligibility
- 3–5 years of experience in Application Maintenance / Production Support
- Hands-on experience with AS400 (IBM i) systems
- Strong knowledge of COBOL and RPG programming
- Experience working with DB2 databases
- Exposure to ATM systems and transaction processing
- Experience in L2/L3 production support environments
- Familiarity with ALDON deployment tools
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide L3 production support for ATM Host and Statements applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in AS400/DB2 environments
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions
- Maintain and enhance COBOL/RPG applications
- Support deployment activities using ALDON for AS400 systems
- Monitor application performance, uptime, and system reliability
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for automation improvements
- Support ATM transaction systems and ensure seamless operations
- Implement and maintain secure data handling and encryption practices
- Prepare incident reports, technical documentation, and support records
- Participate in batch monitoring, job scheduling, and production maintenance activities
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Core Banking domain
- Knowledge of banking and financial services applications
- Familiarity with batch processing and scheduling on AS400
- Experience with incident management/reporting tools
- Ability to work in high-pressure production support environments
